New US Passports (16 Years and older)

 

To get a new US passport quickly, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • You must be a US Citizen over 16 years old; AND

  • You never had a US Passport before; OR

  • You were under 16 years old when your most recent passport was issued; OR

  • You have not had a U.S. Passport issued for over 5 years.

Process Overview 

You must gather the documents listed below and take them to an Acceptance Agent.

  • An Acceptance Agent is a government employee who will verify your identity.

  • Acceptance agents are at Post Offices and Court Houses. Click here to find an Acceptance Agent near you.
  • Inform the Acceptance Agent that you are using a private expediting service to “hand carry” your application.

  • The Acceptance Agent will have you sign the application and seal the documents in an envelope.  The envelope will be marked:  “To be Opened by U.S. Passport Office Only.”

  • Do not open the sealed envelope since this will invalidate your application!  The agent will return the sealed envelope to you.  You must pay a $25 execution fee to the application Acceptance Agent.

  • Ship or hand deliver the envelope to our office.

Application that is not received at our office by 8:00am on the date reserved is subject to a charge of the full service fee.

Items Required for Acceptance Agent

1.A

Proof of Citizenship

To prove your citizenship, you must have an original or certified copy of your birth certificate, naturalization papers or old passport.

If you do not have your Birth Certificate, please call us.


1.B

Proof of Identity

In order to prove your identity to the passport acceptance agent, you will be required to show a driver's license or state-issued identification issued more than six months ago. Official government or military picture identification, are also acceptable.

1.D

Passport Photos

Two (2) identical passport photographs. Go to a passport photographer to have the photos taken. Homemade photos are not acceptable and most often causes a delay in passport issuance.

Proof of Departure

Submit a copy of your computer-generated itinerary or your ticket from an airline, travel agency, or online booking agency showing your departure from the U.S. FAX or photocopies are acceptable. Please include one copy inside the sealed envelope and one copy outside of the sealed envelope.


1.F

Government Fees

Two checks or money orders, one payable to U.S. Department of State for $135 and the second for $25 payable to the courthouse or post office (the acceptance agent fee).

Note: Please include your date of birth on the memo line of the check. Do not use starter checks for new bank accounts.

Authorization Letter

A letter of Authorization giving us the authority to submit your application and pick-up your passport when issued. Provide two originally-signed authorization letters - One copy should be inside the sealed envelope and one copy outside the sealed envelope.

Note: Each copy MUST contain your original signature preferably in blue Ink. Fax or photo copies of your signature are unacceptable - both letters must be originally signed.

Processing times are business days and do not include shipping time. Keep this in mind when placing your order. Orders are filled based on departure date. For example, a traveler leaving in 10 calendar days that selects 5 - 7 day service may experience fulfillment times of up to 11 calendar days including shipping.

Renewal of U.S. Passports (16 Years and Older)

To renew U.S. Passports quickly, you must meet the following qualifications:

•    Your most recent passport must be in your possession; AND

•    You were 16 years or older when your passport was issued; AND

•    Your passport was issued within the past 10 years; AND

•    Your application is not damaged.

If you do not meet the above criteria, please apply for a new U.S. Passport.

A check or money order made payable to "U.S. Department of State" for $135. This fee may also be paid online via credit card when filling out our online order form below.

NOTE:
 If paying by check:

Please include your date of birth on the memo line of the check. Starter checks for new bank accounts are NOT acceptable.

Although it is recommended that your check have your name pre-printed on it, if submitting a business check or someone Else's check, make sure to include your name, address and date of birth on the check. Money orders must contain your information on them.

Letter of Authorization

 

 

A letter of Authorization gives us the authority to submit your application and pick-up your passport when issued. We are only allowed to submit a certain number of passports each day, and the additional names on the additional authorization letters are for our sister companies under whose name we may submit your application in order to provide the fastest available service.

NOTE:
 Each copy MUST contain your original signature preferably in Blue Ink. Fax or photo copies of your signature are NOT acceptable - both letters must contain original signatures.

Submit a copy of your computer-generated itinerary or your ticket from an airline, travel agency, or online booking agency showing your departure from the U.S. FAX or photocopies are acceptable.

If you are unable to provide a trip itinerary, we can still assist you without one. It may take one or two additional days to process your request.

If You Have Changed Your Name

 

 

If you have legally changed your name and you wish to have your new Passport issued in your new name, you must submit an original or certified copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree, or court order showing the name change. Your new Passport will be issued in your new name.

If you have a temporary Passport, issued at a US Embassy overseas or other situation causing a short term Passport issuance, you must include a certified birth certificate, past US Passport, or Naturalization Certificate.
